Introducing: Ella Samis

Ella serves as the Lower Shore Land Trust's Bookkeeper. Born and raised on the Eastern Shore, Ella likes to stay close to the water.
During her Maryland Conservation and Climate Corps Service Year with Fenix Youth Project, she worked closely with LSLT and collaborated with the staff, weekly. With a background in environmental education and plans to continue working in the nonprofit field, Ella says, "My experience with LSLT is crucial to my professional growth."
In addition to working at LSLT, Ella works at Gilbert's Provisions in Berlin, MD. On her days off, she enjoys cooking, going on hikes, listening to music and painting. Ella is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree at Salisbury University.
