A Conservation & Resilience (CORE) Management Plan is a guide to inform property owners of potential climate risks on their property and help them prepare for anticipated landscape changes. CORE Plans are written for properties most likely to be impacted by increased flooding, saltwater intrusion, and other environmental changes anticipated to occur in the Chesapeake Bay region. CORE Plans propose management goals that take into account environmental concerns as well as landowner objectives. They then provide land use strategy suggestions and resources in order to help fund and implement the recommended strategies and meet the management goals.
